Washington University in St. Louis Baseball hosts is inaugural Prospect Camp whereby high school baseball players of any age seeking first-rate baseball instruction, top-notch competition, and honest assessment of their college baseball abilities from Washington University baseball coaches should register for what will be a superb two-day event.
The goals of the Washington University Baseball Prospect Camp include:
Head Coach Steve Duncan and Recruiting Coordinator Nicholas Mahrt will orchestrate the camp, while assistant coaches Ross Clites and Jim Foster will facilitate the “skills, drills, and technique” and showcase portions of the camp.
Camp Format
High school players registered for the Washington University in St. Louis Baseball Prospect Camp should expect an abundance of face time in front of WashU baseball coaches and should expect to receive numerous comments on their baseball kills and mechanics. Players participate in:
Evaluations/Video
Washington University Baseball coaches will provide all attendees with a written evaluation of their baseball abilities and future college playing prospects. Players should expect this evaluation within a few weeks of the prospect camp. Evaluations will be realistic, honest, and accurate, and will focus on areas of improvement for the player. The evaluations will also reflect a true assessment of the players’ chances of playing college baseball at the varying levels.
Video packages are available for $150 and are supplemental to instruction.

The Washington University Baseball Prospect Camp has partnered with Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis in Clayton, Mo., located just minutes down the street from Washington University’s Danforth Campus and Kelly Field, to offer camp registrants and their families a significantly reduced rate. Please mention “WashU Baseball 2013″ when booking to received the reduced rate.
And please know that included in the price of registration is a Penn Station East Coast Subs lunch box for both days of the prospect camp. Players need not bring their own lunch unless they have specific and unique dietary needs.
